We are looking for a part time accounts clerk for a contract period of 12 months, to cover maternity leave.
We are looking for someone that is well versed in the use of Sage and able to operate the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts.
The position will be part time, 5 days a week, 4 hours per day not including breaks. Holiday for the full 12 months will be 20 days plus statuary bank holidays. Hours flexible but something like 1000-1400 or a variation.
The main office hours are 0700-1600 hrs.
The tasks include;
Input of sales and purchase invoices
Match off incoming / outgoing payments
Produce weekly debtors and creditors reports
Produce weekly pay run of outgoing payments.
Chase outstanding invoice payments
Update daily the excel cash book
Reconcile daily the cash book/bank statement/sage
Manage email
Be familiar and able to produce excel spreadsheets - we currently operate office 365 system.
Operate a simple in/out excel cash book/sage for a collector’s role we hold on behalf of Trinity House
Answering the telephone when required.
