An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant or Ledger Clerk to join our vibrant and growing team. Reporting to the finance manager, the required tasks are detailed below.
Inputting all invoices on Quickbooks. Produce weekly A/P Ageing Summary for to payment run.
Complete card takings bank reconciliation. If there are discrepancies, e-mail FM with details.
Collect and input Timesheets onto wages spreadsheet. Input wages vs sales on spreadsheet.
Check revenue figures against weekly spreadsheet from stores and till reports.
Check petty cash payments against reports and receipts.
Input petty cash and revenue on Quickbooks once checked by FM.
Whilst some training can be given, the main attributes for a candidate would be good working use of Excel and experience with accounting software. AAT level 2 as a minimum is desirable, although candidates qualified by experience will also be considered. This could be the perfect step up to a more rounded accounts position for ledger clerks, as well as those with accounts assistant experience.
