Account Director - Cyber Security Sales Professional - London

£40k - £60k pa + Uncapped OTE| London| Permanent

 
 
I am recruiting on behalf of a consultancy that has an excellent track record for bespoke and personal Cyber Security Solutions to an array of clients in Public and Private Sector organisations.

I am looking for a sales person with solid knowledge in Cyber Security and exposure to end user sales. This role could suit an internal looking to take the next step into an external role, or for an experienced external sales person to progress with their career. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the next phase of growth by selling Consulting and Security Operation Centre (SOC) services to new and existing customers. 

The Account Director role will identify and develop new, profitable relationships with targeted corporate and government accounts in UK and Ireland. Specific Responsibilities are:

* To consistently achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets
* To maintain a healthy pipeline of potential sales deals that is equal to minimum 3 x quota
* To build then implement a Territory Plan which supports quota and pipeline goals. Review results then refine and adapt as necessary
* To deliver activities which help to develop the company image, reputation and competitive advantage in targeted enterprise accounts. Take ownership for building a network of contacts relevant to the companies expertise, then undertaking regular, credible communications to this network. Help to establish our Consulting as a Cyber Security visionary and thought leader
* To provide an accurate, regular sales forecast representing quantified demand in the territory
* To build and implement a detailed opportunity plan for each major forecasted deal
* To understand the strengths and weaknesses of the company's competitors and to use these to maximize success and win-rate
* To promote sales successes. This includes provision of sales reference sites, case studies and testimonials
* To provide high-quality, regular communications with other Customer touching teams to ensure the service and care of our Customers is consistent and marked by excellence
* Create best practice in business and contractual relationships within the targeted accounts
* To represent in a professional manner at all times and to ensure that the company's interests are maximised and protected in all dealings and transactions

The successful applicant will have:

* Preferably medium term (5-7 years) overall sales experience, ideally in Security consulting services or software market
* Proven new business sales experience in complex, high value enterprise environment with the ability to identify/create/qualify/progress/close new business
* The ability to work credibly at all levels including board and operational levels
* Self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision
* Has existing leverage-able knowledge and network of enterprise Customer accounts and partners
* Experience of selling Cyber Security and/or Consulting Services is strongly preferred
* Very strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts at both a Business and an IT level
* Team player, with the maturity to understand how to work with and motivate individuals who make up the virtual team
